Alliance for Democracy (AD) governorship candidate in Imo State, Chief Hope Uzodimma, will today unfold his agenda for the people of the state as he officially flags off his campaign at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, Imo State.

Determined to serve his people at the grassroots, Uzodinma resuscitated the moribund Orlu Peoples' Assembly (OPA), which later metamorphosed into the Imo People Assembly (IPA), an organisation out to sensitise the people of Imo on good governance. It was at one of the regular meetings of IPA that the people overwhelmingly resolved that Uzodimma, an accomplished businessman should take a shot at the number one position in the State.

Meanwhile, the Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, is expected to lead other notable Nigerians on Saturday, March 22, for a solidarity/fund raising dinner to support the gubernatorial aspiration of Chief Uzodimma.

Organisers of the event said, Owelle Rochas Okorocha is expected to chair the event while Prince Arthur Eze of Atlas Oil would be the chief launcher.

National chairman of AD, Alhaji Abdulkadir Ahmed, will be the chief host while all AD governors would be in attendance.
