Hi folks!
This edition is dedicated
to our 12th Annual THISDAY
Awards and we have all the fanfare
for you to feed your eyes! As
to be expected, everyone was
dressed to the nines. Aside from a few fashion faux pas, most people looked like a million dollars.

For the women, all that effort made getting
ready was certainly worth it because it was a
very tough call trying to decide who the best
dressed woman was! Mind you, the men also
looked ‘dapper’ in their different suits and some
even went the extra mile to add a bit of colour to
an otherwise conservative ensemble, which just
goes to prove that though we might be the fairer
sex, men can give us a good run for our money in
the Style stakes.

Vicente Fox, the former Mexican President was
the guest speaker, while Lemar, the Nigerian
artiste who is based in England made a special
appearance. He was glad to perform as he hadn't
been to the shores of Nigeria in 15 years! His suit
was snug and looked very nice on him. Though
he appealed more to the younger crowd, he was
still very entertaining.

The highlight of the evening was when the
woman everyone had been waiting for, the legendary
Diana Ross, took over the stage. Most women, regardless of age, got on their feet to sing along with her. Her numerous scintillating outfits made men even decades younger quiver
with barely concealed admiration. Having reigned supreme in the industry for over 40 years, Diana did not disappoint her die-hard fans and ensured every single minute spent listening to her was well worth it, All in all, it was an evening of glamour and great fun!
