Hi folks!
Last year we hosted the first edition of the THISDAY Music Festival which was aired on MTV Base. Last Sunday we hosted the 2nd THISDAY Music Festival. For those of you who missed it, I’m sorry to tell you, you missed the show of a lifetime. Suffice it to say, we did Nigeria proud once again by hosting six of the world’s greatest performers much to the delight of Nigerians who could not believe that they would ever set eyes on these idols in their very own backyard, more so for a fraction of the price that they would
have paid for just one of them abroad, not to talk of six!

The concert was one of the biggest and most successful ones ever held on the African continent and it is no small feat that THISDAY has succeeded yet again, in doing this the second time round. The musicians, both local and international wowed the crowd with hit after hit and there was hardly anyone sitting throughout the show. For some it was a day to remember, for others, it was a memory implanted in their minds forever, especially those lovely kids who were fortunate enough to share the stage, albeit briefly, with their super hero, P. Diddy! It must have been a dream come true, not only for them, but also for their parents who know just how much joy this act would have given their kids as the smiles on their faces was priceless!

The THISDAY Event Centre where the show was held is easily comparable to any event centre worldwide. Having personally attended the World Music Awards in England and the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, THISDAY Events Centre certainly scores top marks by international standards which must have been a very pleasant surprise for the international stars that were hosted. Our fellow musicians also held their own as the audience was just as thrilled to watch them perform.
